3. Motion Detection Technology

Canon's new advanced “Motion Detection Technology” detects camera shake, brightness of subject and background, and movement of face and subject. By consolidating and analyzing these parameters, it adjusts the intelligent ISO speed that reduces the effects of camera shake and subject movement.

4. Easy Mode

This mode is ideal for first time camera users, or users who do not make many settings. No settings, other than flash settings, can be made in Easy mode. Even if you press the MENU or FUNC./SET button, no menu will display.

5. Print List

You can add images directly to a print list by merely pressing the Print/Share button immediately after shooting or playing back an image. You can then print the images from the print list easily, when connecting the camera to a printer.

6. Sunset (Special Scene Mode)

Sunset mode is newly added to the special scene mode. It provides the optimum white balance and My Colors parameters for shooting scenes with a sunset background, while retaining the vivid colors of the sunset.
